Daily working tips for excavators that you may not know
1. Utilize gravity and inertia
Downhill excavation: During the excavation process, if possible, try to let the bucket naturally descend along the ground, which can reduce the load on the engine and improve efficiency.
Utilizing inertia: After the bucket is full, inertia can be used to help lift the bucket and reduce the pressure on the hydraulic system.
2. Reduce the rotation angle
Minimize Rotation: Minimize the rotation angle as much as possible, which not only saves time but also reduces energy consumption. Try stacking materials near the excavator to reduce the turning distance during each loading.
3. Reasonably plan the homework path
Optimize movement route: Plan the homework route in advance and minimize unnecessary movements, such as multiple trips to the same location.
Avoid duplicate work: Ensure that each shovel completes the excavation task as much as possible and reduce the number of repeated excavations.
4. Gentle operation
Smooth operation: Avoid sudden acceleration or deceleration, which can reduce the impact on the machine and extend its service life.
Progressive operation: During the operation process, try to use a gradual approach, such as gradually increasing the digging force of the bucket, to avoid sudden force.
5. Use auxiliary tools
Laser level: Use a laser level or other measuring tools to ensure the flatness of the ground and improve construction accuracy.
GPS positioning system: Some modern excavators are equipped with GPS positioning systems, which can accurately control the excavation depth and position.
6. Maintenance and upkeep
Regular inspection: Regularly inspect and maintain excavators, including replacing filter elements, checking the quality of hydraulic and lubricating oil, and tightening screws.
Cleaning and maintenance: Keep the machine clean, especially the radiator and cab, which helps to dissipate heat and extend its service life.
7. Safety awareness
Familiar with the operation manual: Thoroughly understand the various regulations in the operation manual, especially the safety operation procedures.
Observe the surroundings: Always pay attention to the surrounding environment and personnel, especially when reversing or moving.
